Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan
I paid the bill
i was takin to small claims court in oct 2002.
but paid the bill in full of may 2002.
call the guy and told him i had takin care of this matter
in may, one week before the court date.so I did not go to court on the date i was to suppose to go.Do I have to pay the court coss if I have proof that i paid the bill in may
2002? thanks for your help in this matter

Probably, because your lack of payment forced the suit and you would not have paid without the suit. Bill Stern
