Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Michigan

Forged Judge's signature on an order

I have a signed oath of office of a Judge and an order supposedly signed by that Judge in a dependency case.

The signatures do not come close to matching. Someone obviously forged this Judge's signature. It was not discovered until after he died 3 months later.

What can we do. There are many signatures that raise questions in this case. Everytime it is brought up in Court the Judges get nervous as excuse my english a whore in church and start sputtering all signatures in this case are legal. Is it legal to use a Judge's signature rubber stamp on an original order filed with the court rather than him actually signing it?

Re: Forged Judge's signature on an order

In some jurisdictions in Michigan yes- it is permissible to "true copy" a judge's signature but an e-record of an order should exist with a hard copy of the judge's original signature the court file and the judge's file. Local Court Rules govern this practice on a court by court basis.
