APARTMENT COMPLEX IS SUEING US FOR BREAKING LEASE. RENT LEFT OWING IS $730 FOR ONE MONTH. THEY STILL HAVE SECURITY DEPOSIT OF $575. THE AMOUNT OF $1938.00 IS BEING REQUESTED FROM US. COURT DATE IS FEBRUARY 11, 2013. SHOULD WE TRY TO SETTLE OUT OF COURT OR GO THROUGH WITH THE CASE. Of course, we don't

have the money but can pay a small amount monthly.

That doesn't make sense if rent still owed is $730 and security is $575, something is not right. How to they get almost $2k?
