Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan

The matinence building aprox 40 to 50 yards from my apartment blew up on the 4th of july. The matinence men we're attempting to make m300's and other explosives. The building blew up. I don't want to live here. Can I get out of my lease?

You can leave and make your arguments in defense of your breach of lease, however, the landlord can still take you to court. Perhaps you should talk with your landlord and put something in writing, to the effect that you do not feel safe there are want to know what they are doing to remedy the safety issues, before you do anything further.
