Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan

Can a landlord charge me more rent than everyone else? I live in a small complex and all the apartmens are the same size.

Yes, the landlord can charge whatever your lease agreement says. The only exception would be rent- controlled properies, or if the landlord is discriminating against a protected class of persons, and charging rent based on the protected characteristics of a tenant.
