Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in Michigan

tresspassing\illegle shearches

Our local ordinance has started a group called l.p. pride. they police the area and give citations to property owners that don't keep up there property. They have given me a citation , witch i payed, and then cleaned up my yard. Now it seems that they come back every couple of weeks and leave these notices in my door. If i don not have construction materials removed they will remove them. and bill me later. all of the construction mat. is gone and they still come back, but only when I am not home. My niehgbor said that they were walking around in my back yard and peeking in my garage. are they allowed to do that? It seems like harrasment to me. and if something happens after the fact do they still have the right to come onto my property and bother me about it before trash day?

It's not clear from your post whether this group is acting on behalf of the local government. However, I would suggest filing a complaint and documenting each instance in which they have entered upon your property. You will need this in the event you want to file a harassment suit later.
