Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan

car accident

i was injured in an auto accident, the car insurance is supposed to pay me 85% of my pay and send the paperwork to get me reinbursed for the car damage. its been 2 and 1/2 months and all i received is a 200.00 check for presciptions and milage. they assigned me a claim rep and now all of a sudden he is out of the office until further notice. and no one there seems to want to help me. or they say they sent paperwork and really havent. I need to know what there leagal obligation is to me and if they have a time limit to take care of such things.

It sounds like you are going to need to hire a personal injury attorney who specializes in motor vehicle accidents. You may ultimately have to file a 1st party complaint against your insurer for breach of contract.
