personal trust fund in danger?

When someone is in a serious car accident, can the injured person take away a personal trust fund from the other person at fault?

not necessarily. first, you'd have to prove your case and that you are entitled to damages, and Michigan has a very high threshold for anyone to recover. It also depends on whether the person has insurance, and how much, and if you get a verdict in excess of the policy limits. if you do get a judgment/verdict against the person, there are procedures you have to follow in order for you to seize assets - too long to explain here.
