Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan

What should I do?

Was walking down frozen food aisle when some 18 gallon empty storage totes fell from on top of freezer on me, went to e.r. and had cat scan and x-rays, everything normal. Back and head still hurt, should i submit a claim to their insurance? THANKS

Re: What should I do?

To Whom It May Concern:

This is in response to your email of September 5, 2001, which this office received on October 24, 2001.

It appears to be very fortunate that you were not seriously injured when the totes fell on you. However, it often takes several weeks for the full extent of injuries to become apparent. If your injuries persist, then you should file a claim. However, to maximize your recovery, I strongly recommend that you retain an attorney to prosecute your claim.

If you have any questions, please give me a call.

Sincerely,

Charles L. Nichols
