Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan

Home purchase.

I've agreed with the seller on a home price. After the agreement the seller went into the home and ''cleaned the house'' (both figuratively and plysically). This house was a bank forclosure and I am buying it as is. Seller states he can ''clean (remove)'' the house. I figure I am out $1800 in missing things from the home (screens, bath tub, etc.) Seller says too bad, I bought ''as is'' and he has the right to remove personal belongings. Who is right? Can I get a $$$ return on the missing items. Is not this in a sence a type of bate and switch tactic?

Re: Home purchase.

You have to look at the purchase agreement to see what it says. If there is no agreement things like the bathtub are considered fixtures and should come with the house. You should contact a lawyer.
