Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan

restriction on landlord entry

Can you please tell me the restrictions that apply to a lanlord for entering ones rental unit if not stated in the lease. I am under the impression that the tenant must be notified 24 hours in advance, is this correct?

Re: restriction on landlord entry

To Whom It May Concern:

This is in response to your email of May 17, 2001, which this office received on June 21, 2001.

Usually there is a clause in the contract regarding the conditions in which the landlord may enter the premises.

Please contact my office if you wish to discuss this matter further.

Sincerely,

Nichols & Eberth, P.C.
