Legal Question in Traffic Law in Michigan

Auto Accident

Yesturday I came to a four-way intersection I was making a left hand turn. There was incoming traffic, I was pulled out waiting for the traffic to clear up. The light then turned orange and I waited for a few seconds, the through traffic stopped and I seen the orange light go off (to go to red) So I started My Turn, I was hit by a Truck on my passanger side. It pushed me back with alot of force. The truck driver was going fast (to beat the light most likley). When the police arrived they talked to three witness's who he said confirmed my story the light was orange, but the other driver dident get a ticke, neither did I. My car was destroyed and I suffer from neck, knee, and Hip problems. I have not yet seen a doctor but have an appointment to do so. Is their any legal case here?

thanks

Re: Auto Accident

It sounds like you may have a case. Automobile negligence law in Michigan is very complex and you need an experienced attorney. You may have a first party claim for no-fault benefits and a third party claim against the at-fault driver. Please call my office for a free consultation. Eric I. Kutinsky, Esq. (248) 737-7000
