Re: changing concervatorship

You have the right to file a petition to modify guardianship / conservatorship. Ask the probate court for the form. Once you have filled out the form, you will file it, ask for a hearing date, and serve it upon the appropriate parties. You will then file a proof of service proving that you served a copy of the petition along with the notice of hearing upon the appropriate parties. When you have your hearing date you will tell the judge why you believe that it is in your daughters' best interest for your older daughter to have the case. You also can contact the lawyers and ask them their position in the matter. They may not feel the need to appear for the hearing, making it easier for you.
