Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

My Dad passed away 2 yrs ago, my brother (who happens to be an attorney) swooped in and took my mom to live with him. We have since learned he took all her CD's and put them in his name. Probably in the amount of 250,000 or more. My dad left HER that money. Now to find out, my dad had a cd with my name on it and my mothers, and he has taken that. It came mature and I asked to just roll it over into my name so he couldn't touch it and mom said it was too late, She is afraid of him and believes everything he tells her. He coerces her into things, she is 91 yrs old!!!!! she feels he can control her because she lives in his home. He also makes her pay 1177.00 a month in RENT! Is any of this legal and right? and How can I get my money that my dad set up for ME not him.

I can help you file a petition for conservatorship. This will protect her from him stealing money. If you think she will be better off somewhere else we could also file a petition for guardianship. Please contact me to discuss in more detail. We can fix all of the manipulation of her money in court.
