Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

My father just died. He had told both my brother and I in detail about his will that he would divide it equally between us and that he and my stepmother had agreed that they would keep their assets separate and for their own children, but now my stepmother is claiming there is no will. Is there any way we can trace the will and have it enforced or will she get away with everything?

It depends on many factors, including exactly how much was in his estate and how the assets were titled. I would be happy to discuss further. Contact me office to chat.

We would need to know why she thinks that she is entitled to the assets and what the assets are, as well as value. Please contact me to discuss in more detail.
