Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

my father and mother passed away last 2010, I am the only son, just this month I saw in the internet that my father has unclaimed property in MI, but my mother and I are not the beneficiary in my father's will , because the last will of my father dated 1978, the beneficiary are his two friend .. my father and mother get married 1986. Can I claim the unclaimed property of my father ?

Yes you can. If probate is needed, let me know. But you should try the unclaimed property process first.
