Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

My fiance passed away 2 days before our wedding day. His adult children and ex wife have demanded his car and personal belongings before his will or trust have been disclosed. His adult daughter has threatened to report his belongings stolen unless I turn them over tomorrow? It's only been 5 days since his death and she demanded this after his memorial. Does she have these rights? I don't believe I am in his will as he was waiting to be married and all assets would be legally "ours".

Unfortunately, you will only have rights to the money or property that were given to you prior to his death. Those items in joint names, including real estate and bank accounts. If there are any letters, e-mails or texts from him to you regarding giving you things if something should happen to him. It may qualify a type of will. Please search your records.
