Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

How does marriage change terms of a will ?

My uncle's will transferred control of his trust to his girlfriend until her ''demise'', at that time control of his trust goes to his niece and nephew (50/50). Then they got married, and 4 months later he passed away. Do the terms of the will change as a result of their marriage (i.e. she has control forever), or does it remain the same (i.e. upon her demise, control goes to his niece/nephew) ?

it sounds like a nonissue, because she is still alive. She is in control whether married or not. Visit www.kliszlaw.com to discuss. Tim Klisz
