Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

My mother transferred money in my bank acc't to pay for her funeral a month before she passed away, and to keep the family from squandering it, the will does not mention anything about it, my brother is the executor of her will, he is keeping everything for himself, my question, is the money that was transferred to my acc't mine or does it have to go into the estate,

Once your mother transferred it to you, it became yours. Only assets in her name at the time of death are controlled by the will or any outstanding trusts.
