Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan
My step dad died and left a holographic will. His brother already opened an estate in his name. Do I need a lawyer to submit the will or can I submit it myself to the probate court and be notified of the hearing?

Submission of a holographic will require way more than just turning it into the court. A lawyer is a must unless all parties agree to its submission.
