Legal Question in Workers Comp in Michigan

Threatening & Abusive E-mails

Dear Attorneys,

Recently I sent my resignation through e-mail to my employer for the following reasons:

1.They are not paying my salary as per the appointment order.

2.They detect too much money for insurance.

3.Pay check is sent after 2 weeks.I asked my exact salary structure they did not gave me that.

Meanwhile I did my H1 transfer.

I got their reply mail with dirty words (I will not stop until you are completely screwed)& threatening me that they will file a lawsuit on me since my contract is for 1 year.

My last pay check also due & they are not sending me. In their recent mail they are forcing me to rejoin with them to avoid the lawsuit.

In India I signed the contract -if I breach the contract then I have to pay $5000/-.

I am not the one transfered my H1. My colleagues joined with me to the company also came out & they are also getting similar mails from the employer.

Under these circumstances what I should do. We would appreciate your expert opinion how to deal with this. Thanks.

Re: Threatening & Abusive E-mails

Keep the emails in complete form and hire a lawyer. They might be in violation of federal law, with respect to threats concerning visas.

If true, it's a pretty serious thing, so you shouldn't worry about hiring an attorney knowledgeable about immigration.
