Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Minnesota

I have a 8000 judgement against me but i sent them anotice that i recieve fuel assistance they still garenshied my paycheck for over 200$ is this legal now i dont even have enough to fiel bankrupcy

Assuming it is an ordinary contract creditor (like a credit card), then they should not have been able to garnish your paycheck. Talk to your employer's payroll department.
