discharge

I had file bankrupty in 2001 from MN. I lost of dischage paper. so how can i get my discharge paper.

please give me idea or process for that.

If you still have your bankruptcy case number, call the Clerk of Bankruptcy Court in the appropriate city and they will sell you a certified copy of your discharge for about $10

That would be a two part process. First get yourself a Pacer membership. Pacer is sort of like Paypal. It's what you need to pay the fees for access to the federal courts websites.

Then go to the U.S. District of Minnesota Bankruptcy Court web site. Search using your social security number. You'll find your entire court file, including the discharge. Click on the link to that document. It pops up and you print it. Easy breazy.

Pacer charges about eight cents a page. The cost of this should run not more than 24 cents, and if you are lucky maybe 16 cents.
