Crossing out a paragraph in a contract

Is it legally valid to nullify a clause in a contract by crossing out the paragraph and signing initials near the nullified paragraph?

Crossing out parts of a contract

If both parties initialed the change then it probably is binding however, if only one party did then the paragraph is most likely still part of the contract. You should probably review the specific form with an attorney to be certain, this is a hotly contested area of law.

It is impossible for anyone to render a valid opinion based on the limited information provided. Do not rely on my general answer as it is not legal advice.
