What happens when a collection agency won't accept your monthly payments?

THey may refuse partial payment and sue for complete damages in court, plus any fees provided for by contract, Interest, attorneys fees , court costs.

You might want to have an attorney settle with them . Do you have other debts outstanding which could be settled?

I do this on a flat fee basis for clients.Can usually get 50-70 % discount with most creditors, esp. if BKY is threatened.
