Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota

was served a warrant on march 27th and arrested and released pending charges monday morning never went to court. they took my son into custody and i got papers signed by judge that didnt match his search warrant signature we have an admit deny hearing thursday and i need to know what to do help please

Your post is not clear. If you or your son, or both, need attorney counsel, I suggest you make a phone call or two and choose attorneys to assist each of you (separately). Generally, as to an 'admit/deny' court appearance (for alleged probation violation),should the defendant 'deny' the allegations, another court date/time would be set for a contested hearing. As to such a contested hearing, the standard for the required 'weight' of the evidence generally is 'more likely than not' (known as 'preponderance of evidence').

I would suggest that you seek help from a lawyer to represent your son - either a private criminal defense lawyer or apply for public defender representation. The lawyer representing your son will have the opportunity to talk to him, review the government's claimed evidence, and otherwise work to defend your son.
