Legal Question in DUI Law in Minnesota

DWI Question

(I had a DWI almost two years ago)I had an accident involving alcohol on the date stated above. I have not heard anything from the court and it's been almost 3 months. Now my licensed has been revoked for a year. Is there anything I can do about getting a work permit? And what are the percentage of getting one.

Re: DWI Question

If you received your Notice of Revocation from the Department of Public Safety within the past 30 days, then you should contact an attorney to help you file a Petition for Judicial Review of your license revocation. Depending on which county this happened in, it may be possible to have your driving privileges reinstated pending the outcome of your case.

If it has been more than 30 days since your received your Notice of Revocation, contact your local Department of Public Safety office and ask them if you are eligible for a limited license yet. Depending on the degree of your DWI charge, you must first serve a certain amount of time of your license revocation before you are eligible to apply for a limited license.

If you would like to discuss these issues further, please feel free to contact me.
