felony points

my son has prior felony points, 6 I think, he now has misdemeanor DUI charge and Felony fleeing police, reckless driving-how many points before prison time?

Based on sentencing guidelines, Fleeing a police officer, where no one was injured is a Level one offense. With 6 or more felony points, the presumptive sentence is a commitment to prison for 17 to 22 months.

In most cases, a strong defense is imperative. With a strondg defense, prison can be avoided.
