Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Divorce judgement

I know there is a 10 year time limit on reinforcing a judgement of any kind. Is there any kind of provision if they were incarcerated 7 out of those 10 years?

Re: Divorce judgement

After a financial obligation is reduced to judgement, it is effective and enforceable for a ten year period. It may be extended for a second ten years if the person acts before the ten year expiration date.

There is no extension because the debtor was in prison.
