I have TEMPORARY custody orders in place in AZ. I am now in MN. Do I need to transfer the temporary orders?

In certain circumstances you would want or need to do so. I suggest you have an attorney review the matter: She/he will carefully study the orders. Infrequently the court of another state will aim to 'retain' jurisdiction for various reasons. I suggest you phone a few experienced attorneys and choose one to help you. You have a "temporary" order in place which seems to indicate there is an ongoing action. Much more would have to be known about the situation including how you were able to relocate with a child from AZ to MN. You should consult, in person, with legal counsel.
