Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Minnesota

put gutters on ladies house, they were damaged in storm or something and she didn't clean them plus altered them resulting in water in her basement/ mold is warrenty null and void at this point as she's not the one that hired him in the first place and the lady that did died. She's threating to sue us but she also had cracks in her foundation and we have evidence that they altered the gutters and we had another person working with us on this and is willing to go to court to tell this same thing. He went over and fixed them for her but now she wants us to fix her basement.

From what you say, it does not appear that you should be liable for the damage to her basement. If she does decide to bring a civil action against you, it sounds like you have defenses to her claims. It may be advisable to have an attorney review her allegations and send her a letter to dissuade her from making a claim in the first place. Please feel free to contact me if you would like me to review further.
