Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Minnesota

My X-boyfriend is taking me to conciliation court to try to get me to reimburse

My x boyfriend, fiance ended our relationship last January (2005). In the spring of 2004, before we were engaged, he purchased a car for me, there was no written or verbal agrrement between us that this was conditional upon our future marriage. The title is in my name, the receipt of sale is in my name. He traded in my car at the time for this newer car (trade in value was about $1200) The car he purchased was about $7500. Now, I have been served a summons to appear in court as he is wanting me to pay for this car and another $125 for his court filing fee. What can I expect to happen in court? I do not have this kind of cash available. Would it be possible that car would have to be returned to him? This car was given to me as a gift. I in fact have a hallmark gift card given to me from him & my daughter at the time, congratulating me on my new car! Please advise!!! I am a nervous wreck!
