Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Minnesota

I want to transfer real property from my and my wife's name in joint tenancy to a trust that we have created. My question is, on the warranty deed, do I list the trustee names (my wife and I) or only the name of the trust - as grantee on the deed?

As to this particular problem, I urge you to seek legal advice. Assuming you choose a reputable, well experienced, well trained, competent attorney, she can & will provide you with a professional opinion & guidance. I also urge that have your own attorney assist you further toward your goals. We attorneys regularly have new clients present who face 'a mess' due to 'something wrong' or 'something going all wrong' in their past. As to real property, problems may not surface for a very long time. We attorneys here do NOT solicit clients: You must initiate contact. Best to you!!
