Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Minnesota

probated property

I went to minnesota to see my mother in the hospital. she passed away january 19 th. I live in Alaska and was staying at her house for a few days after the funeral. My older sister is the administator to her will and came over and told us it was minnesota state law that no one could stay at her (my mothers) house. so we had to leave. I have been looking on the net for minnesota probate laws and cant find anything on it . Is it true?
