Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Mississippi

Civil judgement, definition in the State of MS

What is the definition of a Civil judgement? It is against the person, or can it be attached to a house/assets? Also, if a civil judgement isn't showing up as a matter of public record, does this mean that the paperwork hasn't been filed? If paperwork wasn't filed, then does the civil judgement still exist and what are the statue of limitations?

You probably should rely on your lawyer who is trying to undo the bad deal you got yourself into.
