Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Mississippi

''Bankruptcy and keeping my home and car''

Bankruptcy discharged April 1994. I am considering filing again but now I have a home mortgage and financing a vehicle. Can my creditors take my home (very little equity in it) and my vehicle (financing for 4 more years)? My Bankruptcy in 1994 was a result of divorce and unpaid bills, etc. Now I am having financial problems and cannot get ahead because of my high interest rates on my credit cards. My biggest concern is my creditors taking my home or my car from me.

Depending on the exact value, they (car/house) may qualify for exemption which means you get to keep them. Assuming you don't try and dicharge them.
