Is A Verbal Warrant Legal

My brother's house was search because a young lady said he stole her wallet the police were called they said they the judge gave them a Verbal Search Warrant so they were searching for a stolen wallet but arrested him on possession of marjujanna and a hand gun is that legal at all and can he sue?

There is no such thing, legally, as a "verbal search warrant." Either it is in writing or it doesn't exist.

His remedy is a Motion to Suppress evidence based upon an illegal search.

If this is important to you, you should have the representation of an experienced criminal attorney to advise you. Otherwise, expect to be convicted.
