Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Mississippi

I live in the state of Mississippi. I am the troop leader for a girl scout troop. Two of my parents have written bad check that were processed through my troops business account. The checks were written in the month of July and both parents have failed to repay the full amount of the checks. To rectify the account, I had to use my personal money. One check was in the amount of $275.00 and the other in the amount of $280.00. Both checks also have a $36.00 fee attached to them. The parent that wrote the $275.00 check has repaid $260.00 dollars, but not the remaining $51.00. The other has not paid anything. Both parents have been issued a 10 day notice through the mail. Both contacted me, but still have not paid their balances in full? Their ten days is up and has turned into 16 days. Lastly, a parent still owes $260.00 dollars from the same trip we took this summer. I do have receipts showing all of this. They are all in the same family. What can I do to hold them responsible for paying this money? Do I have enough to take them to small claims court? Also, how do I go through with doing this? What information of theirs would I need ? Thanks!

Sure take them to justice court. Pay the filing fee and have them served then put your case out there and see what happens
