Drug appeals
I jusat want to know If I took a plea in a drug case can I appeal my case to a higer court.Iwas given a 20 year sentenceon a 3 pound sales of weed. If I can appeal what do you think my next step should be and do know anybody I can talk to or contact. Thank you

You can appeal, but you must file your notice of appeal within 30 days of the date that the court enters the order on your sentence. You can also pursue an avenue of post-conviction relief. You need to hire an attorney to assist you with these matters.

You give up appeal rights by pleaing. I'd suggest talking to a local criminal defense attorney that knows your DA.
