Is it possible to set certain standards for visitation for the father of an 18 month old to be returned to the mother at night instead of staying all night with the father until the chil reaches an older age?

Re: visitation

Visitation is always negotiable. Plus if the parties can't agree, the judge will always have his own ideas (which neither of you may like, but will no doubt have to abide by).

Re: visitation

If you are attempting to change a visitation arrangement that is part of a divorce decree you will need to prove the change is justified by a substantial and material change of circumstances and in the child's best interest. Otherwise, the change will require the parties'and the court's agreement that the change would be in the child's best interest.
