Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Mississippi

Non Resident Judgement

I am involved in a civil suit in MS in relation to a home sale 5 years ago. As a non MS resident, if I should have a judgement awarded against me in that state, is it enforceable and collectable in the state of AL?

Yes, the judgement would be enrolled in Alabama. It would then constitute a judgement lien and could be pursued just like any other judgment there.
