disclosure of someone being arrested

if employee is arrested at work dose the manager in charge have to inform the store manager that the employee was arrested. or would that be a violation of privacy.

It is not a violation of privacy, an arrest is generally not a secret thing. (Juveniles are detained not arrested.) Hence there is a public record of arrests and there is no right to privacy for it.
