Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Missouri

price of car

I recently purchased a car, he told me the car was a 2004 for 10, 195.00, my son told him the car was a 2001 and blue book on it was 7,600.00. The finance guy had to do the paper 3 times for mistakes, I know I signed the contract but a week later when looking at the contract I find that the sale price was 10, 195.00. Can I do anything about it now?

Re: price of car

There are consumer protection laws meant to protect purchasers of automobiles from buying a lemon or from having the financing terms switched or changed. The nice thing about a solid consumer protection claim is that there are usually statutorily set penalties and attorney fees are provided for. I would have to get more facts about your situation in order to tell you whether or not you have a claim. I would also most likely need to review all of the documents you signed. Please let me know if you would to discuss this matter in greater detail.
