Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri

illegal search or not

A friend and i were stopped. He said the reason we were being stopped was because we had just purchased an excessive amount of sudafed cold tablets. We had been to a wal-mart and each purchased 2 boxes which i believe is the legal amount a person can buy. What i was wondering was how did he know we had purchased an excessive amount? Without a prior search of our vehicle.

Re: illegal search or not

The police knew because the store clerk called them and gave them your description and a description of your vehicle, probably including the plates. I have had several cases just exactly like yours. If you are being charged with crimes, then you need to hire the best attorny you can afford to represent you. If you are located in the eastern half of the state, I might be able to help. You may call me at 314-727-2822.
