Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

Child going to college.. tuition paid by working on campus. One parent pays child support to other parent. Child lives on campus... paid by grandparents. Child gets no help by parent getting support . Buys no books, supplies, clothing or food. How or can the child get the child support sent to him? Other family members are helping this child out getting personal needs and food. He is 18 and not living with either parent. He is struggling .

Sadly, it appears that the child may have to sue the parent getting support. , for failure to pay for college. That child may also be able to bring a Motion in their parent's custody case to seek an Order that support be paid directly to them. It is very rare, but some speculate that it could work.
