Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My grandson is in foster care in Mo and I want him but DHS says his family is not allowed. Can I adopt my grandson or get custody of him. He just turned 2. I do not have the money for an attorney and I live in another state.

Based upon the facts you described, you might be able to adopt the child. But, you'll need an attorney to do so
