Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

In a missouri custody case where there was never paternity or a marriage and the allegged father files for custody once he has the child for a visit, what are my rights. It has been filed and I filed my plea. No court date has been set for 2 months and I am not allowed to contact or see my child per the alleged father. Is there a way I can speed this up so i can have my child back home or since it was filed and not been ordered or ruled upon can I get my child without any problems?

You may be able to get your child back of the local police will help. Alleged "father" has no legal rights whatsoever. Whether the police help you or not you need to hire an attorney immediately. I may be able to help you myself. I have handled hundreds of these cases over the last 38+ years. Call me at 314-727-2822 for a free telephone consultation.
