Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

MISSOURI-my son and ex gf broke up last May, they have 2 children, never married. All summer he was denied access to children, numerous attempts. He found out around Christmas that she had signed temp custody to a friend, wo his knowledge. 'Friend' will not allow access to children. There has never been a custody agreement thru the courts, can he go get them.

Your son has no legal rights to custody of the children. He needs to hire an attorney to file a lawsuit seeking a judicial determination of paternity, which will also set forth his rights on legal and physical custody together with child support. If you are in my area, I may be able to help you and your son myself. I have handled hundreds of these cases over the last 39 years. Call me at 314-727-2822 for a FREE telephone consultation.

Yes, but it's better to file a paternity/custody case to make it legal.
