Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

I pay child support to my ex-husband for our youngest child who is 17. The last modification stated dad is responsible for covering health & dental insurance - at the time, he had a union job & I have no idea how much the insurance premiums were. Fast forward 3 years & for some reason or other, he is no longer working for the union & has a different construction job & insurance premiums cost $142 per month. He is harrassing me & demanding that I pay 1/2 of the premium. Should I go ahead & pay 1/2 of the premium or go back to court for any changes? If taken to court, what are my chances that he will still be responsible for the insurance vs me having to pay 1/2? I have checked & it would cost more than the $142 per month for me to add our son to my insurance. Thank you for any guidance you can give me. I have attempted to contact the lawyer that handled this 3 yrs ago, but have not been successful in reaching her.

If things are ad you say, the father pays the premium and you aren't liable for half. It is impossible to predict whether his Motion to Modify would succeed. There just not enough facts known.

Good luck
