Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Missouri

Privacy Rights

I was recently terminated and found out afterwards that my ex-boss posted the details of my termination to a message board viewed by approximately 14,000 people! The information she posted was false (it wasn't the reason I was told I was terminated) and it put me in a bad light. Do I have any recourse for her publicly posting this information?

Re: Privacy Rights

Based upon the facts you described, it appears that you might have a viable claim against the individual and the company. You need to consult directly with an employment or labor attorney in your area. They can discuss the other facts of your situation and tell you whether your damages (if any) are compensable.

Good Luck
